  • Doulas are there to support you no matter how you envision your birth. Doulas can support a medicated birth by helping with position changes, empowering you in feeling educated in your options, and advocating for you. Your doula can also assist in comfort measures and emotional support.

  • Doulas go through an extensive training and certification process to ensure they are educated and equipped to support you in your birth journey.

  • Whether you have had 1 baby or 3 babies, each birth is unique. A doula can guide and support you in your current birth journey and allow you to feel educated, supported, and loved.

  • A doula is there to support the birthing person and their partner, spouse, or family. Doulas are able to help guide partners in how to feel confident in supporting their loved one. Birth is a very intimate experience and your partner knows you the best. Having a doula at your birth creates spaces for intimate support from partner, while the doula can do more of the physical work with hip squeezes, position changes, and getting you both food and water! A doula NEVER replaces a partner, only completes the birth support team.
