About Me
Hi Mama, I’m BreeAnn,
A wife, mother, certified birth doula, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and advocate.
I always knew birth work was where I was meant to be, but I had my own unique journey to get here.
With a background in Social Work, I was able to learn and grow in supporting families from all different backgrounds. I was able to practice my ability to listen and learn what was important and unique to each individual I worked with, which has translated over into my work as a birth doula.
In between the birth of my children, I was able to take a step back from Social Work and take my first steps towards supporting birth.
As a doula I have a passion for helping families create the intimate and personal birth experience they desire. I am a huge believer in providing and empowering families with evidence based care, so they can choose the best options for their birth.
No matter where you choose to bring your baby into the world, my goal is to support you in feeling empowered and seen during your birth.
I am excited to meet you and talk about how I can empower you in this new season of life!

Supportive and compassionate...
“
Looking back at my birth I can’t imagine going through the experience without BreeAnn by my side. BreeAnn supported me (and my mother/support person) through a last minute induction due to preeclampsia followed by 4+ hours of pushing and finally an emergency c-section. Every step of the way BreeAnn was there ensuring my needs were listened to. She was incredibly knowledgeable about various positions and support measures that we could utilize given the constraints of the hospital and my preeclampsia. BreeAnn even supported me in the operating room and immediately after my c-section despite having been up from the early morning supporting an incredibly hands on labor. If you are looking for compassionate hands on and emotional support for your labor I can’t recommend BreeAnn enough, you will feel empowered and informed every step of the way.

A nurturing birth experience...
“
BreeAnn was instrumental to a positive, nurturing birthing experience. She immediately put me at ease as she arrived at my home and guided me in early labor. Her presence allowed me to just focus on getting through the contractions as she would help me through them and prep my husband to transfer to the birthing center. At the birthing center, I was blown away by how she managed so much for me. She was there supporting me, then would be drawing a bath in the background so it was ready quickly. She did so much you would assume there were multiple doulas present because she somehow was always doing exactly what I wanted before I knew it was what I needed. Most importantly, I felt so fortunate to have BreeAnn by my side after birth. My husband and son had to go to the NICU, having BreeAnn there for me in an incredibly emotional situation was the comfort I needed. BreeAnn was mental, physical, and emotional support through the biggest moment of my life. She made me feel safe and took care of me in ways I didn't even know I needed. I had just met her as labor started, yet at the time of birth it felt like I knew her for years since she made me so comfortable.

Encouraging and hands-on support....
“
BreeAnn provided such compassionate, encouraging support throughout my labor. Her hands on support helped me through each contraction and she helped me to rest and reset in between. She was also a big support before the birth, checking in regularly with me to see how we were doing and encouraging me when I felt stressed. I would highly recommend her as a doula!

Confident and knowledgeable...
“
As a midwife, Bree is exactly what I am looking for in a doula for my patients. Her calming presence and sweet nature are exactly what people need in labor. Bree is not afraid to advocate for her clients and help them achieve the birth experience they desire. Bree has worked as a doula in a variety of birth settings and is experienced with labor positioning, comfort measures and that awesome hands on support that many crave in labor. Outside of hands on support, Bree is amazing confidant. From answering those random questions that pop up, to reminding you and your partner to drink water and in labor, Bree is exactly who you want in your corner! I have 100% confidence that my patients will be well cared for when Bree is their doula and I cannot recommend her enough!
